Create a VM – Ubuntu 16.04 using iso image
Open VMware Work station and click on Create New Virtual Machine
Choose Typical and click Next.
Choose “I will install the Os later
Choose the Operating System and Version and click Next
Give a Name for Virtual Machine and also give location to store and click Next
Choose Maximum disk size and click Next
Using Customize Hardware, change the Network Adapter to Bridge (to access Internet) and click Finish
Here give the iso image path and click Ok
PowerOn the VM
Choose language and click Install Ubuntu
Choose Download updates while installing Ubuntu and click Continue
Choose “Erase disk and install Ubuntu” and click InstallNow button
Choose the Place you are in and click Continue
Chose Keyboard Layout and click Contiinue
If you don’t know the layout then type any text and click on “Detect Keyboard Layout”
Enter Your name and Give a name for the VM.
enter user name and password and choose login (whether using password or automatically) and click on Continue
Wait until the installation is complete
After completion, click on Restart Now button.
